AraFan is an investment group founded and led by Fanie Sithabela, a seasoned entrepreneur and multi skilled professional with over 18 years in strategic management, project management and business experience. The company is invested in 3 divisions in Business and Legal Matters Consulting, Construction Project Management (RBE) and Property & Real Estate sectors.
Fanie started his career at Malvolaar Investment Holdings (MIH), a business he established in 2005 among others, this is where he built his entrepreneurial and business economics skills. It is through MIH that he serviced blue chip companies like General Electric, SA Breweries, Petra Diamonds, Coca Cola, just to name a few. Moreover, the company also serviced a large number of SMMEs and Government Departments as well as State Owned Companies. After spending 15 years as a member and owner of MIH he left it to start AraFan Investment Group in 2018.
Fanie has qualifications and certifications in business management and administration, project management, property law and real estate, commercial law, marketing, media management and construction management from various institutions: IQ Academy, Wits Business School, Wits University, University of Cape Town and University of Free State. Fanie has served in various advisory roles over the years, including as a member of the SAB Kickstart Adjudication Board, a member of the SAICA Hope Factory Advisory Panel, a Mentor at Business Partners Limited SME-ToolKit, a director of Sakeng Business Mentorship Platform and Advisory Panel Member of Gauteng Economic Development GEP Business Booster Pitch.
He is currently an Advisory Board Member of Thabisha Cardiology Medical Group and also an Advisory Board Member of Scada Civils and Project Management.
